Seriously the fact that I have the strong urge to write this at 1am is beyond ridiculous but I can not take this anymore. CHAIR’S RELATIONSHIP IS NOT ABUSIVE!!! OK just STOP please!

Yes, Chuck has made some mistakes that he is definitely not proud of and he’s paid his price for that. How many episodes of GG this season ended with Chuck alone?

The fact that people are suddenly having petitions and making videos of how Chuck is abusive to Blair is beyond me. I don’t understand the need for it because no matter what you tell me, no matter what logical explanation or argument you may have, it will be irrelevant because chuck is NOT abusive! Yes, he traded blair for a hotel. Yes, he may have got drunk and punched a glass near Blair, but you want to know what? This happened a long time ago and Blair forgave him. Not to mention the fact that Chuck apologized. You want to know why? because she LOVES him. And he LOVES her. She knows he didn’t mean to do what he did. He traded her for a hotel but you have to remember Blair was his first and only girlfriend. He NEVER cheated on her. Some might say that trading her for a hotel is worse than cheating but is it? Is it really? Because both ultimately lead to heartbreak. So yes, he broke her heart but so did Nate, Serena, and yes even “saint” Dan. 

From what I’m hearing most of this is coming from dair fans, and honestly I can understand why you must be upset. Your ship finally got to happen. And most of us chair fans sat back and didn’t watch. We waited it out because we knew it wasn’t going to last and you dair fans should have known too. We chair fans have been through hell for the past few seasons. Yes, we had our moments that were great but how many times were we given that hope of our ship finally getting to be together and then having it suddenly ripped apart over something as a pact with God? I’ll tell you: FIVE! FIVE TIMES!! And now that we finally get to celebrate you have to ruin it for us by calling our ship abusive? WTF?

Not to mention the fact that this is all in reference to something that happenedover a year ago!!!

Your ship happened. Be grateful for that. But to bitch and complain and make up this argument of how chuck is abusive and that Chuck can’t make Blair happy and stuff, please. Blair has said so herself that he’s made her the happiest she’s ever been and you can call Blair weak for going back with Chuck but you know what? She could care less because the man she loves and her own mother have told her that she is the most powerful woman so your argument is invalid.

And again, I just need to stress this. How in the world did you possibly believe that dair would be endgame? How? For the life of me, I will never understand. I mean, I’ve shipped ships and I’ve hated ships. For example, the leyton and brucas ship war that happened a few years back. I was a hardcore brucas fan, but when it ended, I accepted it. Leyton was endgame it was evident and even though I loved Brucas I didn’t hate leyton fans or make up irrelevant arguments about how dumb they were for shipping them. Some ships are endgame and you can’t do anything about that. If you honestly thought and still think dair is endgame then you obviously haven’t been watching GG from the beginning. This show has revolved around Chair since the pilot and if you honestly thought that someone like Dan Humphrey was going to break them up, then I don’t know what to tell you. Because you should have known this was coming.

Now, I know not all dair fans are like this and I’m probably going to get massive hate in my ask but I don’t care. I will always defend Chuck and Blair and no one can ever make me jump ship or hate them.

I know there are a lot of rants and essays all throughout tumblr right now and I apologize for adding to that list but I just had to get this out. I’m just sick and tired of my fellow chair fans getting hate and having to defend our ship especially after a finale ending that we are happy with. One that we haven’t gotten since s2. So please, please, just stop tainting our ship by labeling their relationship as “abusive” because it’s not.

I mean, I would say best man, but that is obviously reserved for Nate. LOL

I don’t even care that George showed up because Zoe finally showed that she was interested and has something there with Wade.

I just really hope she doesn’t break his heart though.

OMG between Jack calling Blair, the look on Chuck’s face when he saw her, her telling him that she’s going to fight for him, and betting it all for him, and with a Fun. song in the background That last 20 seconds was the best part of the entire episode

So that wraps up my reaction. It’s been fun (no pun intended) doing these reaction posts. I can’t say that I have enjoyed this season but Blair finally chose Chuck!! So until next season/the final season

OK usually I try and stay away from writing these posts but I just have to get this out. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ANYONE CAN BELIEVE THAT DAN AND BLAIR BELONG TOGETHER!!!!! OR THAT THEY ARE ENDGAME! Because OBVIOUSLY they are NOT. The whole time Blair has been in this sham of a relationship she has complained and is always more concerned with Chuck than Dan. I honestly can’t comprehend how anyone believes that they are better than Chair. Did you all forget what happened in season 1? I mean, I MAYBE could have liked them together had Dan not become the arrogant, annoying, long haired monkey he has now become but even then I would have preferred them as friends over lovers.

Honestly, Blair just came out of a freaking MARRIAGE like what? A month ago? He already expects an “ILY” i mean this is just ridiculous. I don’t see the point in her jumping from relationship to relationship when in the end it’ll always be Chuck. And Dan knows that so I don’t get why he even bothers to be in this relationship it’s like he’s so adamant on keeping her for himself that he’s not letting her be her true self. I mean, come on people. If you’ve been watching since season 1 you KNOW that the real Blair would NEVER have gone out with Humdrum Humphrey. It just makes no sense whatsoever.

At this point how can anyone like Dan anymore? He’s put himself on a pedestal and he thinks he’s all perfect and is so quick to put the blame on others (mostly on Chuck) when most of the time he’s just making assumptions and he thinks his choices are always the right ones when most of the time he’s just being dumb. IDK I used to really love Dan but now I just don’t even care for him. I was a huge Derena shipper but at this point, this edward scissorhands don’t even deserve Serena.

Basically I just needed to rant and to show how awesome chair fans are I will not tag in this in the dair tag.

Alright let’s get this reaction post going! After that exam I had today and the four exams that I have coming up, I was so looking forward to procrastinating with this. LOL
